Do you have a roommate matching system?

Yes, we offer a roommate matching system. If you don’t have anyone in mind that you would like to live with, let us match you up with someone! There is a Roommate Matching Sheet that you will fill out to let us know more about what you’re looking for in a roommate. Then, we spend weeks in the summer figuring out the best match for you based on that information.

When is my rent due?

The first installment is due on July 15th before taking possession of the unit. The next installment would not be due until September 1st. Through our online resident portal, you can set up monthly recurring payments, one-time payments, or remit your payment in full.

How do I pay my rent?

We offer various convenient options to best serve you:

  1. Automatic Bank Deduction:

    • Have your financial institution automatically deduct rent from your bank account each month to send in payment.

  2. Online Check Payment:

    • Pay with a check online using your resident portal without any additional charges.

Yes! We are pet-friendly but with some restrictions. Please contact us for more information.

Is there insurance coverage in the event of a fire, theft, or natural causes? Does my lease provide coverage for my belongings?

The View’s insurance will not cover your personal belongings. We suggest getting renter’s insurance for this reason. It is generally inexpensive and will cover your personal belongings if something were to happen. Additionally, the tenant is required to purchase personal liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000. Homestead U must be listed on the policy.

What if I need to break my lease or don't return for the spring semester?

The View’s lease is binding and cannot be broken. If you cannot live at The View after signing your lease, you will need to re-let. Please call the leasing office for information on re-letting.

What if I need maintenance in my bedroom or apartment?

If you need maintenance, simply go to your resident portal on our website and fill out a maintenance request. You can also call or stop by the front desk. If it is an emergency, please notify the front office immediately.

What furniture is provided?

Please review our floor plans to see what furniture is provided!

How do I receive mail and packages?

The clubhouse office will accept packages on the resident’s behalf. You’ll receive a text message and an email when a package has been received.
